I have tried to change from working offline to working online by clicking the working offline button but it didn't work. I have been through the procedure using the control panel but still not working. Can you helpplease?

I tried the instructions provided to turn off Work Offline so that I can again send emails. It highlights when I put my cursor on it but when I click on it it just stays in the Work Offline mode. What are the next steps?
