How I can switch from working offline to working online in outlook?

In outlook the workoffline is highlighted with a red X. I clicked on it and it won't turn off, how do I fix this? It started with one of my gmail accounts not syncing with outlook.

I have fallowed the instructions to the letter, with no effect.
I don’t have Outlook. So how can I get from Offline to Online in my pc when I try to print something.
I tried this. It is not switching back to working online. It remains WORKING OFFLINE
