Sorry but I still can't get back online. I have tried several times to no avail.

When working offline is enabled, the button is highlighted as in the second screenshot.

    ONLINE                                       OFFLINE

It will also say working offline in the status bar:

If Working offline is enabled, click the button *once* and wait a few minutes for it to reconnect.

I have the same problem wherein my Microsoft email account reports working "offline". The only difference is that when I attempt to do anything to address the issue Outlook asks me to verify my logon credentials. That is, "Because you're accessing sensitive info, you need to verify your password". I input the correct password only to be returned to the same popup requesting I input the password again.

I am using Classic Outlook 2024. I can only assume this has something to do with a change in security settings or something similar where I am constantly asked to verify my identity but Outlook never accepts what is provided.

    Please help.
