    DEAR HELPDESK

I am having similar problems to the above. Spent two days trying to get OUTLOOK back online. Press Send Receive you get no option to get back on-line. Can you please advise. Which of course is impossible via email as I can't access outlook.

    ******@outlook.com

    Thanks

The red X NEVER goes away!!! It is part of the button design. When working offline is enabled, the button is highlighted as in the second screenshot.

It will also say working offline in the status bar:

If Working offline is enabled, click the button *once* and wait a few minutes for it to reconnect.

I still can't get my email in online mode. When I log in all I see is a welcome message dated 2014?

I changed my Teams status to "Available" which it was already but reclicked it - and my offline grey X on outlook went to green checkmark and now says Availble on my email. Not sure if you're having same problem but this fixed my problem. Outlook and Teams we're linked and I guess Teams was set to "Offline" so it showed up on my Outlook as well.
