Outlook. Not receiving or sending emails

I have been trying to fix Outlook for three days now. With the help of Earthlink, Geek Squad, etc. I am unable to send or receive emails through through my Outlook. Web mail is fine.

    What happens when you try? Do you get any error messages or the like? Does the message go to the Outbox > Sent Items?

    Is Focused Inbox turned on? If so, have you tried turning it off?

    2 to 3 weeks ago my outlook stopped receiving emails. I ONLY GET ADS. I am tired of getting the runaround.
