I have been trying to fix Outlook for three days now. With the help of Earthlink, Geek Squad, etc. I am unable to send or receive emails through through my Outlook. Web mail is fine.

So, what happens when you try? Mail sits in the Outbox? Error messages? Non-delivery reports from your recipients? Any details you can share will certainly help, thanks!

Incoming mail comes 1 to 2 times a day, usually overnight and mid-day.

Outgoing sits as a draft until it either does not send or sends.

    Calendar invites disappear.

Other mail clients work as normal (Thunderbird & Iphone). Only one that doesn't is Outlook.

Had this same issue a year ago.

I have now switched from the "new" Outlook to the "old" one.

    The problem is different.

This morning I wrote and sent 3 emails.

    Still with the “new” Outlook.

All 3 were not in the “Sent” folder, but in the "Draft" folder.

When I opened them again in the "Draft" folder, there was an entry "Email was not sent, try again later"

After a few hours, the emails were no longer in the "Draft" folder and the following message was displayed "Email deleted unseen".

Now I have switched to "old" Outlook and see the mail in the "Sent" folder but it has not been delivered to the recipient.

After waiting 2 hours, I sent another mail from "old" Outlook, which arrived. And when I send a mail to Outlook from the 2nd account (which received the mail), it is currently also arriving.

The question is how long this will work ;-(

It's not possible to work like this because you never know whether the e-mail will be sent, arrive or disappear.

Very tedious, especially if you have to send important e-mails on a deadline.
