Outlook. Not receiving or sending emails

I have been trying to fix Outlook for three days now. With the help of Earthlink, Geek Squad, etc. I am unable to send or receive emails through through my Outlook. Web mail is fine.

It's clear that Microsoft Outlook is aware of these problems. It's time we moved elsewhere.

My neice cannot sign in. She has tried everything and email blocked her for 24 hours. She tried again after 24 hours and was blocked again. What are we paying for??? Nothing has changed in her account. She was trying to access BBC - for which she has a licence - and they sent a code to her email account. When she tried to access it she had to sign in to Outlook and it wouldn't accept her password. This has taken too much time and effort and no customer support.

This doesn't work!!!! My neice has spent two days trying to access her email account and CANNOT get into it. I've been trying to find a number for support and can't find one. I use outlook too and am going to find another company after seeing what trouble this is.
