Outlook. Not receiving or sending emails

I have been trying to fix Outlook for three days now. With the help of Earthlink, Geek Squad, etc. I am unable to send or receive emails through through my Outlook. Web mail is fine.

    I have just tried to send an e-mail to myself from Outlook. Email was sent to me and also received. For the moment it looks to ME as if Outlook would work.

    Incorrect....I sent myself a test email and it gets stuck in the drafts folder.

    For the moment, it looks like Outlook is receiving and sending all mails again. The question is for how long. Until Friday, July 11, Outlook only received and sent mails sporadically. If Outlook “goes crazy” again, I will only work with GMail. It is very annoying when Outlook simply deletes emails that are to be sent without being asked and does not send them without any information.
