The steps provided me previously have not worked. One suggested I might have too many emails. What is the limit? I assume the size of the attachments impact that as well.

If you got Outlook New with your software package, please have a look at this support article:

You can't open classic Outlook on a new Windows PC - Microsoft Support

This article speaks to the 2029 timeline:

Microsoft classic Outlook support until at least 2029 | Directions

Thanks Hal for the info, I hope the new version of outlook in 2029 is error free!

Outlook New is not yet a replacement for Outlook Classic and it will not be until at least 2029: Outlook Classic will remain fully supported until then and likely longer. There is no need to switch at this point. The current primary purpose for Outlook New is to replace the windows 10/11 Mail and Calendar app.

Hi Hal, thank you for your comment, I don't know how you aquired this information, or how factually correct it is. However, new outlook is what was included in the Office 365 software when I transferred my account to a new laptop. I did not see an option to switch or retain older Outlook. The account just substituted one version for the other and it did not work correctly. PLease feel free to show me what happened there?
