Message Body Font in Outlook Suddenly Small

Yesterday my Outlook updated to a new version. The text of the message body is so small it is useless in the preview pane. The subject line font is huge while the message body font is tiny. What do I have to do to make the fonts the same size? I have tried accessibility text font changes that make it worse. I tried large, medium and small in outlook and it has no effect on the message body font. Preview pane image included. Thank you for your support. I have Windows 11.

    My issue is regarding a laptop web browser. None of my other email providers have this problem. I can view it in Edge fine. MS is doing this on purpose so people are forced to use their usage-intensive browser.

    Hello,

    To fix this issue try following these steps:

    1. Click on any email
    2. Hover your mouse over the body of the email
    3. Press 'Cntrl' + 'Scroll' to zoom in/out to your preferred %.
    4. This should now hold the setting and be resolved for the text body of emails.

    Found an answer that worked:

    1. Place the cursor in the body of the email message you're composing.
    2. Select Format > Zoom.
    3. Select a zoom percentage or enter a custom percent.

    This could be more obvious, since it really seems like what we'd call View.

    IOW It's a View issue, not a Me issue.

    We just had the same problem and found the solution! If you go to Home --> View --> Zoom you can fix just the email body view. Hope this helps!

    Hello,

    If I understand correctly, the size of your message body in the new Outlook is too tiny for you.

    If that is the case, you have to change the font size from its default to what you want.

    To do that, Go to Settings on the Outlook page.

    Click on Email on the left pane.

    Click on Compose and reply.

    Scroll to Message format and select the font size of your choice.

    Click on Save.
