Disable auto-delete of accepted meeting invites in the *new" Outlook?

The existing Outlook app for Windows has a setting to prevent calendar invites from being automatically sent to Deleted Items* when you accept them. Is this setting available in New Outlook?

Microsoft just announced that starting in 2024, the new Outlook will be the "official" one. I'm really concerned that features like this may be ignored when trying to reach feature parity. So, Is there an official feature request page for this? They exist for other Microsoft products I use, but I didn't find one dedicated to the New Outlook.

Thanks for your help with these topics!

*Deleted Items is the wrong choice even if I wanted this! Archive would be the smarter location for a modern email didn't. (But the best thing would be too simply not do actions the user didn't request!) Thanks again.

I think I found an easy workaround! (At least it worked for me just now, I haven't tried to repeat it yet) If you respond to the meeting invite on the calendar instead of from your inbox, it doesn't automatically go to trash! Still a weird "feature" but it's better than creating a custom rule

    Horrible Fonts

    Inability to customize menus/folders

Inability to not auto-delete calendar invites

    etc...

I have the same issue and concerns, but my main concern is why on Earth would Microsoft push a platform to its business community users that is half-baked.

Oh, silly me, did I forget greedy Microsoft's mantra [aka Corporate Mission Statement]: Our customers are suckers who pay for a product which is inferior to its predecessor then the same sucker who paid for the product will help us develop the product for free by telling us what is wrong with the product they are paying for which we already know is inferior but it is still nice to have confirmation.

I am jealous of Microsoft's monopoly because if most companies did software development like Microsoft they would be out of business.

This does not work. The box is unchecked and has been for several months, yet the meeting requests continue to be auto deleted.

Just one more item which is a step back with the new versions of office and Windows 11.

    Frustrating....

And Microsoft is scratching its corporate head wondering why it is losing market share!
