I am a premium subscriber. When attempting to add my gmail.com account to outlook.live.com I get an error 400 bad request "An error occurred when you tried to access your mailbox because a server with information about you and your mailbox couldn't be found."
The url it attempts to go to is: https://outlook.live.com/mail/1/?JitExp=1&state=2 and then after a few seconds of trying it goes to url: https://outlook.live.com/ and throws the error above.
I have tried clearing my cookies, browser history, incognito mode and restarting chrome browser but nothing seems to work.

I found out you can pay early on a google invoice for as much as you want to. I just paid the $30+ required by google to get you out of a workspace trial. I'll know tomorrow when the payment posts if this was the issue. Report back then but I have a feeling this is the core cause.
Okay. I was able to get out of a workspace trial and still is not working. So that is not the reason. I've submitted multiple support issues and still no luck on the Microsoft side. Google is still pointing the finger at Microsoft on this on their support emails.
@support are you looking into this at all?
Looks to me like this problem, too. My (free) Google account says Microsoft Apps should have access. But I keep getting the Bad Request error. @Support would be great if you could look into this!
Same thing is happening to me. This is the email I would get from google suggesting that they went ahead with allowing gmail to be viewed on Outlook.
Yet outlook is giving me a 404 error. I second @Support looking into this!
I was having the same problem when I was trying to get Outlook set up with my (free) gmail account on my new computer. I started with the outlook.live version and couldn't get anywhere. I then searched for the app on my computer and opened that up and was able to link very easily. Not sure what the difference is or why one will work and the other won't...but that is what worked for me.
