I am a premium subscriber. When attempting to add my gmail.com account to outlook.live.com I get an error 400 bad request "An error occurred when you tried to access your mailbox because a server with information about you and your mailbox couldn't be found."

The url it attempts to go to is: https://outlook.live.com/mail/1/?JitExp=1&state=2 and then after a few seconds of trying it goes to url: https://outlook.live.com/ and throws the error above.

I have tried clearing my cookies, browser history, incognito mode and restarting chrome browser but nothing seems to work.

Details from the error (w/o the client IP):

It may have to do with having a new gmail account or it still being in trial mode. However, I sent this screengrab video of me unsuccessfully loading a new google workspace account into Outlook365, and then successfully loading another older google workspace email using the same exact steps. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tx0H2aoPUN_Xi47GF9dN37JRYG2_C-ig/view?usp=sharing

Google replied that it is a problem on Outlook 365s side, but still doesn't make sense why one google workspace email is working, but another isn't.

That looks like it is for accounts that are not gmail. Outlook allows gmail all the time. There must be some new setting in Gsuite that Google rolled out. I can successfully connect a gmail gsuite account that was created a couple years ago. When I try my new gsuite account I get this error.

I have checked Gsuite settings and the box for "Enable Google Workspace Sync for Microsoft Outlook for my users" is turned "ON". https://admin.google.com/u/4/ac/apps/gmail/enduseraccess

    Anyone else think of anything?

Hi Derk! My name is Ben and hope you are well.

With regards to your issue, I believe you are adding this via the Outlook.com webmail based on the details provided.

For adding connected accounts on the webmail, once a connected account has been removed it cannot be added back based on the last post via https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/add-...

This references the connected accounts via Outlook web and this could be one of the reason why it cannot be added.

I hope the information helps. If you are trying to add it via app, please let us know so we can further guide you.

    Regards,

    Ben
