What countries phone number are not supported by microsoft account to add in?

I am from Nepal and I am trying to add my phone number to the microsoft account and it's telling me that it doesn't support the country code. So that means I can't connect my phone to the account, is that right?

    Im also from algeria and i have the same issue this is the worst site to ever exist ! It doesnt support any country but the us and canada

    Hello, I'm from Mauritius and I cannot add my phone number.My Country code is( +230).

    When I add my phone number it says "We don't support that country code.Use an email instead".
