I am from Nepal and I am trying to add my phone number to the microsoft account and it's telling me that it doesn't support the country code. So that means I can't connect my phone to the account, is that right?

Its not only about securing your account i also need to redeem my Microsoft rewards after months of gathering it. Thats is where the problem is. And this guys know that there is no that not all phone numbers are supported but still they didn't put another verification method which is what annoys me the most
if you’re from the philippines, (JUST IN CASE!) go to microsoft rewards dashboard and try to go redeem what you want. if you have to verify your phone number, remove the +63. it helped a lot but didn’t work on the bing app!! i wonder why tho..
then how to put our phone numbers in if the country is not supported?
I'm in America and having this issue. Usually over 25$ they ask for a number but this time only for 10$. Saying doesn't support my country code. It doesn't let me use alternative methods either. Instead of using these volunteers who doesn't know anything. Microsoft needs a real person who actually works at Microsoft to fix this problem. This is ridiculous
