Outlook 2016 will not take gmail after end of May 2022

Google advises that gmail will not work in Outlook 2016 after 30 May 2022. how do i change from outlook 2016 to outlook 2019 within my current 365 subscription?

    It was a login issue and once I entered the new password again it worked. Thank you

    Thank-you so much for this, I've been trying for over 8 hours to get my Outlook 2019 working after it stopped working with the password not valid notice yesterday, I have two Gmail accounts and made a n App password for both and it's working fine again, can see a lot of people having problems with this in the future!

    Thanks. After I changed my Outlook password with the 2 step generated one. My Iphone and Ipad are still getting email without the need to generate ones for them.

    Yes, it works for Windows 7 with Outlook 2013. What error message are you getting?
