Outlook does not reconnect after waking from sleep mode

Hi,

When I leave my computer idle so it enters sleep mode outlook does not reconnect to server and cannot update the latest emails. Closing the program down and starting again means that outlook will not even open. The only way I can get outlook to open up again properly is to restart the PC.

Is there a better fix than this, as it is rather annoying than to have to restart all the time.

I can confirm I have the latest updates for windows 11 and Microsoft office programs.

    I fixed mine by disabling my hyper-v network adapters. I had noticed Windows network awareness thought I was not connected after sleeping even though I was on the internet. Disabled the hyper-v nics and networks in settings showed me connected after without rebooting then Outlook connected.

    Does this issue remain fixed for you? And did you only disable the Hyper-V network adapters or did you remove Hyper-V completely?

    Does anyone else have any other comments on fixes that worked? I have two users both have issues with Outlook and Teams after being idle for a while.

    I have also noticed that when this is happening, Teams and OneDrive appear to be offline as well. During the times this happens, the network connection is still active and web browsing is still possible.
    That's what made me wonder about the possibility of a licensing issue, preventing access.

    I want to mention that I observe the same phenomenology in Teams and Outlook. So I doubt that the problem is something on the outlook side only...
