Outlook 365 Calendar view shows 12am regardless that Work Week of 8am-5pm is set up.

Changed my work hours!

Go File

Then Options

Then Calendar

It had my work hrs as 00.00 to 17.30.

I changed start to 8am.

It works!

I don't understand why there isnt a simple setting for this. I don't share my calendar - i just use it myself and add and send invites - but i don't want to see midnight to 8am. I just need to see 8am to 11pm. How do I set that? Setting business hours does nothing in old or new outlook. This is really basic

Very strange fix indeed but it worked, I even joined the 2 calendars again and the calendars are opening at the current time and not at midnight like they used to. thanks for the tip. Much appreciated.

Changed work hours on both laptops running the same version and the calendar still opens at midnight regardless of the settings change.

This only started in the past week.

Would it matter if any meetings are scheduled prior to 8am?

Or if a meeting is a recurring all day meeting?

This happens on my boss's calendar that I manage, not on mine if that helps.

I am having the same issue. No settings changed and Outlook client on Windows 10 with office 365 up to date. This started on one laptop and now happens on other laptops as well. Opening the calendar used to open at the current time but now opens at midnight and you have to scroll down to get to the current time bar and related appointments.
