Thansk for the reply BUT it still is no where near as good as the original outlook - too many process to get the image quicker when saving lots of images in emails :-[

I'll be switching back to the original sadly :-[

I too reverted back to the old Outlook because of this, HOWEVER just discovered a way that currently seems to be working with the NEW outlook. Make sure you are in the body of the email where you want the screenshot, 1.) press either the "Print Screen" key OR the "Windows + Shift + S" keys at same time. This will grey out the screen and put icons at the top so you can pick either a picture or video as a rectangle, window, full screen or freeform based on the dropdown at the top. Highlight your screenshot as you normal would. This opens the snipping screen at the bottom right , BUT ALSO COPIES TO THE CLIPBOARD. Just put your cursor in your email where to paste and "Ctrl + V" OR right click -> "Paste" to insert the screen shot and Viola there it is. :), no need to mess with the snipping tool, saving/finding pasting etc

I've used this for a few days and can say that while a different process, there are advantages to how I use it. It is actually fewer entries for basic insert - OLD way 1.) "insert" 2.) "sreenshot" 3.) "screenclipping" 4.) select area - it shows in email as is. NEW Way 1.) "Print Screen" Key 2.) select area 3.) Paste into email (either right click "paste" or CTRL + V. One of the more notable advantages of the new way is the ability to add notes/hand drawing/shapes via the snipping tool before pasting. Whatever changes you make in the snipping tool DON'T require saving and attaching, just make changes before you paste. With the old way, I'd have to save a screenshot, open in paint, add my notes (typically highlight or circle something, or put an arrow to note something), then do screenshot of that paint screen to show my notes. Below is an example of what I've done with new way, be aware I don't believe the snipping tool can do text entry if that is how you need to use it.
