How do I get my Outlook mail working again if I cannot generate a new password. I accidently added a folder under the inbox and when I tried to delete I could not. I then lost connection to AOL and could not connect to pull my email. I went to generate a password but I keep getting this feature not available right now.
How can I get my Outlook to pull my email from AOL again?

Thank you
I got the same run around from AOL. They told me my computer wasn't trusted but they couldn't tell me how to get it to be trusted. I left my computer on for 4 days and left myself logged in to AOL mail. I am moving to gmail.
AOL Generate Password feature is not present, why? I installed Office 2021 onto new HP with Win11 and cannot get Outlook to work. I start Outlook, it shows my email address and prompts for a password. I enter my AOL password but it is not accepted. I can access AOL email via a browser using the same
password.
You should probably read the thread as your normal AOL password will not work. You must use the third party app password generator.
Go to mail.aol.com
log in
Click Options,
Click account info
Click account security
scroll to bottom and then..
Click Generate and manage app passwords
Type in a name (Like Outlook), and then click Generate Password
When available, it will generate a password for you to use on that third party app (Outlook)
That ls GREAT!
But the st DOESN'T WORK!!!
