AOL Generate password Sorry, this feature is not available right now!

How do I get my Outlook mail working again if I cannot generate a new password. I accidently added a folder under the inbox and when I tried to delete I could not. I then lost connection to AOL and could not connect to pull my email. I went to generate a password but I keep getting this feature not available right now.

How can I get my Outlook to pull my email from AOL again?

David

Unfortunately, my Outlook AOL password was deleted on the AOL website (ironically by a Microsoft technical support person trying to help me set up Outlook more efficiently) and, of course, we were both unaware that the AOL app password generator was unavailable. I just spoke with AOL technical support and didn't receive the same answer as above (i.e. re; the feature not being brought back) but a fairly scripted answer that they're working on it, with no estimated resolution date and confirmation that there's no other means of generating a password and hence setting up a third party app. Apparently, I can "rest assured" that I can access my emails via the AOL website. I did suggest to the AOL representative that as this has been a known issue for many months there should be some warning on their account security page to not delete passwords as there's no way of generating a new one. In the meantime, I'll be looking to set up a new email account that doesn't involve AOL; the effort involved will be worthwhile if it means never having to deal with AOL again!

Someone posted this software and it worked for me:

“ outlook email password genius from isunshare. It's 15 bucks but was well worth it for me.”

    It worked great.

If our Verizon email is on an AOL DOMAIN CONTROLLER, how does the app give out passwords the app does not, and better not have access to generate an email password?

    I don't understand.
