How do I get my Outlook mail working again if I cannot generate a new password. I accidently added a folder under the inbox and when I tried to delete I could not. I then lost connection to AOL and could not connect to pull my email. I went to generate a password but I keep getting this feature not available right now.

How can I get my Outlook to pull my email from AOL again?

    The problem is when I stupidly added a folder under the inbox in my outlook. My email is (username)@verizon.net. This caused a problem with AOL. I tried to delete but it would keep coming back. Once I was able to delete it after that I was unable to connect to AOL using Outlook 365. The fix was to go to AOL and generate a new password but when I did that I got the error. I have been searching over the WEB and see a number of users are having the same problem. I contacted Microsoft support and they mentioned that AOL was upgrading. Looks like I'll just have to wait till they finish and then generate another password.

    The only way you can regain access to your account again is by verifying your identity or resetting your password.

    Select Forgot password?

    If the Enter password window is still open select Forgot password?

    Verify your identity. For your protection, Microsoft must verify your identity before you can proceed with resetting your password.

    Get a verification code.

    Enter code and reset password.
