How do I get my Outlook mail working again if I cannot generate a new password. I accidently added a folder under the inbox and when I tried to delete I could not. I then lost connection to AOL and could not connect to pull my email. I went to generate a password but I keep getting this feature not available right now.
How can I get my Outlook to pull my email from AOL again?

No. Phone discussion with senior tech who kept trying to upsell me to get rid of my problem.
Did they send an email on this?
Here is a workaround:
If YOU did not delete the existing 3rd party password on the AOL website or still have one on the AOL website for the 3rd party address i.e. ******@verizon.net, etc.,,
Use the password sniffer above on your computer. Find the existing, passwords for AOL/Outlook. Any for the same address for any computer will work. It is only address specific, not computer specific. Do not delete any passwords on AOL.
Good Luck.
I was told by representative of AOL that this feature will not be brought back. They have been telling customers for over 6 months that it is an ongoing problem that is being worked on but that is not the case. They now have a paid plan for ONLY 15.99 A MONTH, that will eliminate the spam, bulk mail folder, and allow you to use Outlook or another 3rd party provider. Just a sneaky corporate ripoff. At least they could have given their "customers" a heads up and explained this so they had options. Might be illegal, but I am not a lawyer.
