How do I get my Outlook mail working again if I cannot generate a new password. I accidently added a folder under the inbox and when I tried to delete I could not. I then lost connection to AOL and could not connect to pull my email. I went to generate a password but I keep getting this feature not available right now.
How can I get my Outlook to pull my email from AOL again?

Thank you
Marie:
I just tested ithe AOL "generate password" function again, and it's working. I originally did get the same response as you (feature not available right now), but it does seem to be OK right now (9 AM CT, 2/18/23). It generates a 16-digit password in blocks of 4 charaters that you enter when adding the Verizon email address into Outlook 's "Add Account" option. Don't change your current Verizon password settings, but instead wait for Outlook to prompt you for your password, and enter it there.
Hi..did you ever get this fixed? Like you, I've had this email for close to 20 years.
I'm not quite following you... I was able to use my Verizon email fine for months, after I did the original password generator. Now, I can NOT get a password to generate. It just keeps telling me "SORRY THIS FEATURE IS NOT AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW" in a bright orange box. I'm losing my mind!!!! I log out of Microsoft daily and I never go on the AOL account until now, so I could generate a password (because my Microsoft email just stopped working).
So you've been able to generate a password? I've been desperately trying and I still can't!!!
