How do I get my Outlook mail working again if I cannot generate a new password. I accidently added a folder under the inbox and when I tried to delete I could not. I then lost connection to AOL and could not connect to pull my email. I went to generate a password but I keep getting this feature not available right now.
How can I get my Outlook to pull my email from AOL again?

Any luck? Here we are in 2023 and now they bounced me out... and the password generator is still not working.
As others discovered, the "generate password" function is now working on the AOL site. But I haven't been able to successfully integrate my Verizon email into Microsoft 365 Outlook utilizing the generated password, even though I have another Verizon email address in Outlook which has been working for years. Does anyone know the proper sequence for adding the AOL generated password into the Outlook "add an account" feature? Thanks.
I discovered the problem - I needed to change the POP and SMTP settings to pop.verizon.net and smtp.verizon.net. Even though my initial Verizon email is accessible in Outlook through pop.mail.yahoo.com, the later Verizon email accounts required the verizon.net addresses. Combined with AOL's now working "generate password" function, my Verizon email accounts are accessible by Outlook.

You convinced me. I am moving over to Comcast.
