How do I get my Outlook mail working again if I cannot generate a new password. I accidently added a folder under the inbox and when I tried to delete I could not. I then lost connection to AOL and could not connect to pull my email. I went to generate a password but I keep getting this feature not available right now.
How can I get my Outlook to pull my email from AOL again?

This has gone on for a few years. AOL wants it gone. Also there are dozens of post about a Russian password sniffer software which I’d be very aware of.

I gave up with aol. Created all new gmail accounts and migrated the AOL emails to gmail. Gmail seamlessly interfaced with outlook. I kept the aol accounts active. It was a lot of time to change to the gmail accounts but it has been easy to do and not be held hostage by aol and their antics. Plus the fact I was getting over 600 spams each day and have found out most of those emails are “subscriptions “ which evades the spam filters. I purchased a program called clean email which scrubs the emails and gives you an option to unsubscribe or block further emails from that one specific address. It did help a lot but my aol account which has been and still produces these ‘subscription” emails. At any rate I am done with aol and will and some point in the future terminate the aol email addresses. Hope this gives you some insight
I've been trying 2 or 3 times each day to get the password generator to work. Just after reading your post this morning I tried again, and lo and behold it worked. Not sure if I'm going to go back to AOL/Verizon now though.
