Outlook Task List / Todo list is no where to be found in the NEW Outlook Desktop.

OKAY, So I was offered to try out the new outlook desktop today and to be honest I'm in love with the new look.

In addition to being able to now PIN important emails to the top, it also now seems to integrate with Gmail to import and save all of your contacts !!, Another feature that has been missing from outlook forever !!

Anyways, Microsoft and all their wisdom seems to remove functionality or break stuff whenever they think they're fixing and it appears now that the tasks / todo list is nowhere to be found...

MS pointed me to support article that specifically says that they do still have tasks / to-do and that it has been relocated to (MY DAY) Top right hand corner, But there is no tab that says Todo as stated in their support article... see my attached screen shot..

according to the Microsoft article there should be a tab right next to the calendar tab --

I only use Gmail accounts. I do not use my Microsoft account as my default email provider ... So I'm concerned that the reason why the to-do list isn't showing up for me is because perhaps Gmail doesn't support this functionality (and or) the new outlook can't integrate with Gmail properly...

Please help.

    As you start the new Outlook for Windows for the first time, you'll be asked during set up whether you want to migrate your settings, so your new experience feels familiar.

    To migrate your settings to the new Outlook for Windows. Please follow the link below. Also you'll see the list of classic Outlook for Windows settings imported.

    Another thing that is missing from the NEW outlook is the Dictation button .... it's vanished and there's no options to turn it back on..🤦

    This is not helpful at all ....

    I am using outlook desktop, not outlook online ... in addition I don't use the standalone App Microsoft Todo, I never Have.

    Left Paine on the NEW outlook ..... There is no Task option here like there was in previous versions of outlook,.

    Here is a screenshot of Office 365 when you turn off the Try the NEW outlook Toggle.

    Very Clearly shows the task list.

    Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue!

    Please, Make sure you have the tasks under the main tasks folder in Microsoft To Do, or have tasks in your Outlook on the web task pane. Using Gmail shouldn't be the reason why the to-do list isn't showing up for you.
