Outlook Task List / Todo list is no where to be found in the NEW Outlook Desktop.

OKAY, So I was offered to try out the new outlook desktop today and to be honest I'm in love with the new look.

In addition to being able to now PIN important emails to the top, it also now seems to integrate with Gmail to import and save all of your contacts !!, Another feature that has been missing from outlook forever !!

Anyways, Microsoft and all their wisdom seems to remove functionality or break stuff whenever they think they're fixing and it appears now that the tasks / todo list is nowhere to be found...

MS pointed me to support article that specifically says that they do still have tasks / to-do and that it has been relocated to (MY DAY) Top right hand corner, But there is no tab that says Todo as stated in their support article... see my attached screen shot..

according to the Microsoft article there should be a tab right next to the calendar tab --

I only use Gmail accounts. I do not use my Microsoft account as my default email provider ... So I'm concerned that the reason why the to-do list isn't showing up for me is because perhaps Gmail doesn't support this functionality (and or) the new outlook can't integrate with Gmail properly...

Please help.

    yes, this is technically what it should look like ....

    here's a screenshot of what mine looks like ...

    Its missing the To Do / Tasks ...
    in addition to also missing the little bell icon which I am assuming is Tasks / Reminders ... Which in all reality is what I'm actually looking for.

    Hi,

    thank you very much for your reply and thank you for your patience.

    On the left side, you'll see the navigation bar, which makes it very easy for you to switch to Calendar, contacts, or any other app you use all the time. In other to gain quick access to your tasks without leaving the inbox, use my day by selecting the icon in the upper right.
