How do I move the Outlook 365 Navigation bar from the left side of the Outlook Window to the bottom of the window? The instructions I have researched do not show anything like what exists on my Outlook 365 program.

    Hello jaybros06

Hi, I'm Karl and will be happy to help you today.

If you re referring to the icon bar on the left side, there is no option to change it back to the bottom. This is the new UI that is getting rolled out and there is no setting to adjust it.

Just so there is no misunderstanding, this is a public user-to-user support forum. We're users just like you helping other users. We do not work for Microsoft and have no input on Microsoft's policies, procedures, or design decisions. Microsoft Support personnel do not staff this forum.

It seems to me, an ex-assembler language programmer, that there is no technical reason to reduce the screen space available to users so that you can do what you want with the interface. Please explain why the location cannot be moved back to the bottom of the favorites column. Your 'our way or the highway' response lacks credibility and customer concern.

Then how do I raise my perfectly legitimate grip to the programmers who made this change? I think Microsoft needs to face their user community directly.

    Thank you for your reply

Why you changed the location of the navigation bar?! It narrows down the panels. Give at least the chance to place it where it used to be.

My Office was just updated as well. And I know that I also am not happy with the icon bar being on the side and the fact that it is not moveable is annoying. Glad to hear others are also unhappy.
