How do I move the Outlook 365 Navigation bar from the left side of the Outlook Window to the bottom of the window? The instructions I have researched do not show anything like what exists on my Outlook 365 program.

    I agree. What did MicroSoft accomplish by moving to side? How is this an upgrade? It's just a preference. With so many customizable options, more than we can ever remember, it is plain stupid to lock this one in. They should at least allow users to move back if we wanted.

    Is the sting value literally the letters f-a-l-s-e? Or just void? Or what...?

    Edit: Ok - I gave it a value of "false" and it works for me. Thanks!

    Afternoon All,

    I've just employed (and rolled out) this registry fix. Works fine for me without any other apparent adverse effects :)

    https://logiccloudit.com/knowledge-base/outlook-navigation-pane-suddenly-moved-to-the-left-side/

    TLDR;

    KEy: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\ExperimentEcs\Overrides

    String: Microsoft.Office.Outlook.Hub.HubBar

    Value: "false"

    TTFN,

    Justin

    This change is awful and will keep submitting feedback not everyone likes more clutter and wasted space in outlook.

    Thanks Karl and others. I appreciate you solving the mystery of why my trusty work tool took a head spin the other night after my updates and reformatted itself to the point where I'm totally lost. I spent a couple hours trying to restore my upper left y axis navigator pane to it's rightful and beloved position on the bottom left x axis navigator pane....all to no avail. What a PAIN this new PANE is! At least I can stop trying to look for a solution and just accept what I can not change, forgive and move on. :)
