How do I move the Outlook 365 Navigation bar from the left side of the Outlook Window to the bottom of the window? The instructions I have researched do not show anything like what exists on my Outlook 365 program.

My navigation bar moved from the left hand side of the screen to the bottom on its own. How do I move it back to the left?

You can put it back. Open options>Advanced and then uncheck the Show Apps in Outlook. Close then reopen and it will be back where you originally had it.

Is there a way to customize the density of how your emails appear in your inbox like in previous versions? The compact view is still much larger than in previous outlooks.

To change back to have the bar horizontal on bottom (versus vertical on left side) simple do this:

    1. Select File > Options.
    2. Select Advanced, and under Outlook panes, clear Show App in Outlook.
    3. Close and then restart Outlook. After doing so, you'll see the navigation bar positioned below the folder pane.
