Outlook Desktop Client not saving signature settings for New Messages & Forwards/Replies for Google Workspace account.

Client has Office Home and Business 2021 installed and just recently because of issues with her contacts not syncing over to the desktop client had to install Google Workspace Sync for Microsoft Outlook. Everything for that went smoothly and is working. However she went to set her email signature and was able to save it and set it up for New Messages and Forwards/Replies, however she closed out of Outlook and went back the next day and had to set the signature for New Messages and Forward/Replies again in order for it to work. Each time she closes Outlook the next day she has to set it again and it will work just fine after that until she closes Outlook. Any suggestions?

    Hello, Robert Mack_XFER.

    Then the next steps are the nuclear options I provided in my first reply. Basically, a reinstall of Office. That's the only options now.

    Also, if I'm not mistaken, a PC with a domain user login is a device that is connected to a domain i.e. a company network. Thus, to perform the reinstall you need to contact the company's I.T. department for help on this issue.

    Thank you for the response. I am the company's IT department. I don't feel like doing a uninstall and reinstall is going to solve the issue. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook previously and that didn't solve the issue.

    This is also happening in our environment and I have been following this thread.

    Here is the issue: There is NO local profile because it is a key activated product so there is NO profile to store the settings in the registry. The account in the product is a user@domain.local

    This is throwing the new roaming settings and the registry fix and the uncheck of save to cloud settings provides no help.

    Reinstall does nothing. This is now the entire company using Google Workspace Outlook Sync

    Glenn, we really need a solution on this. Key activated Microsoft 365 has no local registry profile when paired with Google Workspace Sync Tool. It just pairs with whatever the domain is. For this instance it is USER (@) domain.local

    I tried making a Microsoft account with the Workspace email but this only worked on a BRAND NEW user. Everyone else has had their profile for 3 years or more and it does not work for them to even SAVE a signature. Manually creating a signature in the signature directory still does not allow the selection of a signature for New and Reply emails.

    Please advise as this happens for any machine that is getting updates in Outlook.

    Hello Glenn,

    Another user wanted to try to do a full reinstall and user profile. No luck. There just is no place in the registry to store the info like on the older devices where they could turn their Google Workplace email into a Microsoft account and sign in with it.

    People who CAN make a Microsoft Account with the Google Workspace email are able to use the roaming profile fix.

    Please advise.
