I recently downloaded the new Mac Ventura OS. Now my Outlook won't search email folders for the two weeks since I downloaded the OS. I deleted all the Office 365 files then downloaded a new batch. Problem persists. Unfortunately, I can't find advice specific to the Ventura OS.

Thank you a thousand times, Lefty Locus!! You Rock! I was frustrated beyond belief and even my IT Team could not figure how to fix. I went on a hunt for an answer and yours was the Magical Solution! I don't understand how these two tech giants don't partner better together! SMH

My searches in Finder and Outlook were all returning empty on a brand new MacPro M2 Ventura laptop (2023). I did all of the Spotlight settings checks recommended by Apple Support without any success. The Terminal fix recommendation above solved it perfectly. You can see the Indexing progress bar when entering a Spotlight search.
Thanks! I've run into this issue twice on 2 new Macs (with Ventura OS) and stopping and starting the spotlight index has fixed it.
