How can I easily switch my Editor languages in Outlook

Hi,

I am working in three languages. This means that one mail I am writing in one language, the next one, I will be replying in a different language. The current way of working is that I always manually select the text and indicate the language I am using. This is quite tedious; it would be easier when I can easily change it in one click or one keyboard shortcut.

Does someone know a solution for this inconvenience pls?

Windows 11, new Outlook design, with Editor active.

    Hello,

    I have the same issue - I need to switch between English and Czech (or even German, and Slovak) 10 - 20 times per day and it would be great to have the option to choose my favorite languages and switch between them by some shortcut.

    Even more, after some updates, I cannot change the language at all. It is stuck in English and I can't change it in the settings.

    I hope that Microsoft fixes this ASAP, because I can't find any polite words to describe how I am unsatisfied with it :-(

    And how would this solve the grammar and suggestions issues that I currently have pls? Changing keyboard layouts is not natural (as my keyboard does not change).

    Again, and you can see people replying to this post, they also work in different languages. I understand that with the US or UK it's hard to imagine that within one e-mail you use 3 languages, and this is reality in a lot of European countries. I master 5 languages, and it's a joy to work with colleagues in their own language. Writing in those languages without being able to change quickly, makes outlook show the wavy red line , which is useless, because it's (mostly) correct what I've written, the system just doesn't recognise it.

    We need a one-click solution or a key short cut that we can use to switch between languages (incl. grammar & spelling checker)

    Yes, same here. Stuck in ENG.

    For now, workaround is switching back to old outlook interface. Works good there.

    I hope MS fix this asap..

    Fully agree on this one. Feels like we took a 20 year step back in time when working in the latest webmail that I am using. Following the steps to manually change in the browser is not an OK solution. How can it not be solved to easily change between languages? This has been working in lots of MS products for years...

    Please work on a solution for this Microsoft.
