How can I easily switch my Editor languages in Outlook

Hi,

I am working in three languages. This means that one mail I am writing in one language, the next one, I will be replying in a different language. The current way of working is that I always manually select the text and indicate the language I am using. This is quite tedious; it would be easier when I can easily change it in one click or one keyboard shortcut.

Does someone know a solution for this inconvenience pls?

Windows 11, new Outlook design, with Editor active.

    Hi all,

    I have the same issue and same setup as Johan. working in multiple languages and frequently in 1 mail.

    for Example: Writing in Dutch and copy pasting a message in French.

    The editor mostly detects the correct lanquage itself but not all the time.

    in older versions of outlook you had the 'spell checker' and you could indicate the dictionary language of a certain word or phrase. than it would check again and see that it was or wasn't correct, but in the right language.

    (attached is a screenshot I found on the web)

    Now with the new version that option is gone in the editor and we want it back!

    That's the solution we're all looking for here so please re-integrate this

    Nothing works, it is amazingly North America-centric, one language fits all! ARGH

    THIS is actually the solution that works for Outlook! I don't know why Microsoft is hiding the button to accept the change in language.

    Please add this feature also to the editor-settings used in Edge and the editor-settings used for the other Microsoft products.

    It worked! Thanks for the video, very helpful. But what a massive fail for MS on this function!

    They should also come up with a way to search the language in the list (by starting to type the work) vs having to scroll...
