Hi,
I am working in three languages. This means that one mail I am writing in one language, the next one, I will be replying in a different language. The current way of working is that I always manually select the text and indicate the language I am using. This is quite tedious; it would be easier when I can easily change it in one click or one keyboard shortcut.
Does someone know a solution for this inconvenience pls?
Windows 11, new Outlook design, with Editor active.

None of these suggestions worked. Mostly I could not find any of the suggested ... or File locations to start on WIndows 11. I can get to Editor, but it will not allow be to select a second language and apply it for editing. Always reverts to EN. Sometimes it switches automatically to FR, but not always, and I do not know why and cannot contol it. PO'd.

You probably have the answer to this question by now, but if you go to your Outlook settings > general > languages, it will give you the option to "view and mange your Microsoft 365 settings". If you add your languages there, it will give (say) English as the display language and then list your preferred languages (which you can add). Then when you go back to Outlook (you might like to close and open it again and give it a sec to catch up), it will recognize the language in which you are writing. At least it just worked for me that way. Good luck!

do you have some solution that makes using new outlook back to functions that were there before?!\
In Europe, we are communicating in more than just english, so you can try to write 30 emails in 3 different languages.
There is a bug that even I have 3 languages added in editor for spellcheck and so on, only first one is considered, how this should work? This si so annoying that it makes Outlook unusable to writing emails, which sounds to me bit strange from email client app.
Do you have at least some another workaround except changing each time order of the languages, or we need to move from Microsoft products completely?

the solution is existing, but it takes to many clicks to change the spelling language of the existing text:
Word - two clicks: one on the language in the status bar and one to select the new language
Outlook - four clicks: Review ->Language ->Set proofing language and one to select the new language
Somebody may think, there's no big difference between two and four clicks, but people having to switch 5-10 times within one mail find it very annoying, especially because there's no keyboard shortcut (known to me).
For typing new text, Windows+Space is a great solution, as I don't have to move my hand from the keyboard to change the language.
@Microsoft: it shouldn't be too difficult to implement the same solution for existing text!!
