The font size is way too small. I can temporarily increase the font size for each email I read or write. I can't find any setting or instructions online to permanently increase the font size.

Great question. In the email notification about the thread, at the bottom, there is an unsubscribe option. I'm going to give it a try too. Also, unchecking the box "notify me when someone responds to this post" below as I write this. Good luck!
How do stop notifications for this thread? The replies are just going in circles and MSFT has made it clear they aren't going to do anything about it?
Thank you for pointing me towards this. I'm using the new Outlook, which gives you different menus, but I noticed that there is a zoom button across the top. I did what you said, left click but on the + button and it increased the front size in the reading pane. Many Thanks

I had the same problem. I set the reading pane to the right and hid the navigation pane and the message in the reading pane showed up full size.
