New company took over and outlook now having issues

I was with Centurylink. They forced me to have Brightspeed. I was assured nothing would be affected. They were wrong. I have never used webmail and have always had my webmail forwarded to my Outlook that I had bought. Since Brightspeed has taken over I am having issues. My Outlook 2021 from Microsoft keeps synchronizing and I my emails either won't go out or take forever to come in or go out and it keeps saying synchronizing folders and I have no clue what that means and why today it started doing that. Brightspeed is no help. Centurylink helped me with the POP info to put in and swore there would be no issues but no longer will talk to me since they said I am a Brightspeed customer and I can't talk to anyone with Microsoft. I don't know why this suddenly started today and Brightspeed had no answers and basically just said good luck. I have work emails that I forward to my outlook so I can print to do my teleworking. It's been over 3 hours and I don't even know why synchronizing is or why it's doing this. HELP. I need it to stop doing that and for my emails to come and go quickly like they were doing yesterday. Any ideas or help anyone can give me.

I would make a new profile.

    Close Outlook.

Type control panel on the start menu and open it.

Type Mail in the search box and open Mail (microsoft Outlook).

    Click Show Profiles.

click add and create a new profile and add your account to it.

When finished, before closing the dialog that shows your profiles, select the new profile in the Always use this profile menu.

Oh Ms. Diane, after what I did this morning, today I am leaving outlook alone. I looked at a you tube and followed what it said and it accidentally deleted all my file folders under my Inbox. I contacted my nephew by my hotmail and he remotely came in and got them back for me. He can't figure out my synching issue either or why when I close out of Outlook, I have to restart the computer for it to show again. I will say this...at least at the moment I can receive and send emails...slowly but that part is now working. I will have him remote in one day this week and do as you have suggested. I was so upset about those folders that I wish I didn't even have to look at a computer today. I will let him know what you have suggested and see how that goes. Thank you for your continued support in trying to help me get this figured out.

So wait a minute -- my e-mail is still accessed through Centurylink (I am in Idaho), but are you telling me the new e-mail look-and-feel is now being done by Brightspeed? I have lost most of my contacts from my address folder, and the Spam folder has gone AWOL. What is up with this?

I did some checking -- looks like it is still Centurylink in Idaho. What are they doing with their new e-mail interface that seems to be badly screwed up?
