New company took over and outlook now having issues

I was with Centurylink. They forced me to have Brightspeed. I was assured nothing would be affected. They were wrong. I have never used webmail and have always had my webmail forwarded to my Outlook that I had bought. Since Brightspeed has taken over I am having issues. My Outlook 2021 from Microsoft keeps synchronizing and I my emails either won't go out or take forever to come in or go out and it keeps saying synchronizing folders and I have no clue what that means and why today it started doing that. Brightspeed is no help. Centurylink helped me with the POP info to put in and swore there would be no issues but no longer will talk to me since they said I am a Brightspeed customer and I can't talk to anyone with Microsoft. I don't know why this suddenly started today and Brightspeed had no answers and basically just said good luck. I have work emails that I forward to my outlook so I can print to do my teleworking. It's been over 3 hours and I don't even know why synchronizing is or why it's doing this. HELP. I need it to stop doing that and for my emails to come and go quickly like they were doing yesterday. Any ideas or help anyone can give me.

Thanks for the screenshots. There are definitely problems syncing some messages. One option is to find and delete the messages that are listed - if its just those few messages, it should solve the sync issues. Hold Shift when you delete them so the problem doesn't move to the Trash folder.

But if you have a lot of messages that won't sync... did you try to import messages to sync up to the brightspeed server? Importing can cause sync issues. If you did try to import from a pst file, close outlook, go to %localappdata%\microsoft\outlook and rename the ost file (add old to the file name) then restart Outlook and give it some time to sync.

I actually have not touched anything because Centurylink said we don't do anything. I don't even have a Brightspeed account to go to. I have over 480 and counting emails that it keeps saying syncing. Whatever they did, they messed up many people. I can delete all the syncing things but not sure if that will fix the issue and I don't understand what the heck I am doing. I never understood what pst files are. I do create folders to move emails to and have many of them and worry about losing those. I'm just at a loss.

It won't fix it - only clear the folder. (right-click on the folder and choose Empty Folder)

You should be able to log into web mail from here -

And when I close out of outlook, it won't open unless I restart the computer. I don't understand.

I cleared them all but more just keep popping up in that sync folder you told me about. I guess I need to remove and add again and see what I get with the outlook. At this point, what does it matter. And you can't get a human on any phone for anything.
