How do I stop the Yahoo sign-in request pop-up on my Outlook 365 Inbox?

If you see the Yahoo sign in prompt you need to enter your normal password that you use when you sign into web mail. The reason the prompt is occurring is that the Outlook Team just enabled Yahoo OAuth support, How to add a Yahoo IMAP account to Outlook Desktop without an App Password - Microsoft Support.

If you have an ATT.NET or other ATT related account the server settings are listed here, POP3 and IMAP Email Settings - AT&T Email Customer Support (att.com). If you switch to using the ATT server settings you will need to use an App Password aka Secure Mail Key for the password.

Changing the server settings worked on my Outlook 2019. It was somehow changed to yahoo.com, I do not know how that was done.

Just today, it happened twice. My server settings match the latest ones posted by AT&T.

Something was done by AT&T.

I am still getting the popup and I use yahoo server settings. I hope this is fixed soon!
