Configuring preferences and options in Outlook.com
Tupay, Thanks for the tip AND the fix. Icons now next to senders name. MS should of notified of this change. I got to waste 30 minutes of my day until I found this forum.

The Quick Action Icons (Delete, Move, Mark Unread) have moved - they were originally next to the SENDER Name, now they are on the far right (after the received time column) - how can I move them back to the original position ?
See image - they are at the GREEN arrow, I want them back at the RED arrow.

Yes - thank you very, very much for the tip, Tupay! Like many others I, too, wasted way too much time trying to put things back the way they were. I would much, much prefer that the full original functionality could be restored, however.
There is absolutely no reason why Microsoft is not providing a simple - and obvious - configuration setting restore the previous functionality. Based on the feedback this change also smacks of ZERO user testing - at least not by Outlook.com users!
GIANT STEP BACKWARDS MICROSOFT - PLEASE GIVE US THE OPTION TO RESTORE THE PREVIOUS FUNCTIONALITY!!!

I am so annoyed with the alteration on the inbox screen, not only are the quick action icons moved across the page, I cannot see my folders on the left hand side, why, why do something like this?, give people the option to stay as it was, don't mend what ain't broke...will the person who thought this up stand up and be counted!!!? probably not
It's horrible layout, please change back!
I got the same issue. Really annoying. Want it back to the original one!
