Hotmail Quick Action Icons Have Moved

If you really, really hate this change and are willing to invest a few minutes time, you could make your own little (local) extension to solve this problem. Works in Chrome and Firefox.

I'm not a professional, so it's not perfect, but you will be able to move the Quick Action Icons back to the original position.

I'm using just these two files:

both put in one folder.

Of course, this solution only works well if you always keep one fixed width for your screen (for example: full screen). You shouldn't keep changing the width of the individual columns in your inbox afterwards either.

--> This is because of the (hard) correction in pixels to move the icons to the left. I'm aware: this is not a very sophisticated solution, but it was the only way I managed to reposition the icons.

I totally agree. This is so incredibly confusing and wasting time! and opens to error, duplicating unneeded action.

Shucks, why break a perfectly good operating UI. the icons were already in the perfect location. Now it just doesn't seem to flow.

I agree. It is difficult to quickly use the delete icon, I have to be sure my eyes are staying on the correct line. Why mess with a good thing? And I hate the way Outlook now arranges emails on the iphone.

No reply from MS, did we all really expect one regards this!!

they are probably having trouble finding the right button to press for reply.....

It's hopeless seems they have no customer care interest at all...

I entirely agree. It is very annoying. Why haven't we heard from MS yet ?
