Microsoft account unusual sign-in activity from Russia

I know this question was asked before but the reply was closed and I noticed something important. The email is being sent from Microsoft domain , that means Microsoft domain is hacked already and sending these spams .

    hello, i did the same thing 2 days ago and now im constantly bombarded with these messages despite blocking them all. they come up with new addresses everyday and i have no idea why microsoft isn't marking these as junk mail? this is very frustrating. they haven't stopped at all.

    I have the same situation - EXCEPT! I checked my activity and I have SCORES of attempted (and thankfully failed) sign-ins from all around the world!! In the past month alone there was upwards of 40 sign in attempts that are all unrecognized.
    I had absolutely no idea I am absolutely dismayed and despite my already lengthy PW I will be upping all my security protcols. Be careful everyone!

    Hello Ray,

    I too have had an abundance of attempted sign in, and sync attempts from different countries over the past month, and Yes, Thank God all Unsuccessful. One day I had 83 attempts all within a minute of each other, another about 20, I can't remember how many days or attempts all together, it is frustrating! I have also ramped up my security..
