Microsoft account unusual sign-in activity from Russia

I know this question was asked before but the reply was closed and I noticed something important. The email is being sent from Microsoft domain , that means Microsoft domain is hacked already and sending these spams .

    That's all. Just be sure your password is long and strong (not some easy to guess password like "password123"). I think the system won't let you use commonly used words as your password. One thing you should know is that any spammers who have your email address can try to sign in with your email address. You can't stop them from trying to break into your mailbox.

    For the past 3 weeks I have received the same "unusual activity" message from Russia, Korea, Turkey. I have changed my password several times. What is confusing to me is the chats say that this "Microsoft account team <******@accountprotection.microsoft.com" is the address in which a user would be notified of unusual activity. That is the address that these emails are coming from. I've enabled MFA. What else can be done?

    I have the same question. I am getting zillion emails every day now with no way to stop them.

    You should not open them at all. Select them and hit Delete.

    Thank you Brian for the response. I also have many emails from no-reply@microsoft.com in my Junk folder saying "unusual sign in activity" from russia, and asking me to click links to report this user. I logged into https://account.live.com/activity/  as you suggested as I did not see that suspicious activity on my account activity. Therefore I have deleted those emails without clicking those links. Thank you for your insight.
