For New Outlook, I can't drag and drop attachment.

I like the new look for new outlook, but the problem I am having is that you cannot use drag and drop feature. I don't want to download all the content because I deal with heavy amount of invoices. I hope this is great feedback for Microsoft and get raised attention and get quickly implemented. Hope to get a quick response and help. Thanks for the support!

    I found a solution in one instance.

    The end user had two instances of Outlook installed. The default mail app was one version of Outlook, and the one she was trying to drag the attachment out of was another. I changed he default mail app to her preferred Outlook; the one she was dragging the attachment out of. Then she reproduced her process and she was able to drag the attachment as expected.

    I had one of my users have this issue. The reason why is because outlook new will save it as a .eml format and not .msg. Instructed user to use Outlook classic for the dragging/dropping functionality. You can still save as from the Outlook new into a directory but it is extra steps.

    I also have this same issue, not being able to drag and drop into the email so it goes as an attachment and not a link.

    Email is often used to send invoices to customers and once saved you just drag it from the download that pops up and then drag it over to the email and boom ready to go, so fast and efficient

    Having to go and upload to the email is very time consuming and not efficient AT ALL to those who send hundreds of invoices a day.

    Why is it this way in the "web" version anyway, this is why no one wants to move to the new web version and who is Microsoft really catering to ?
