Outlook 365 for Mac - not sending attachments

I have an issue whereby Outlook for Mac is losing attachments when sending emails (typically, but not exclusively, PDF files).

If a file(s) is/are dragged and dropped into an email it is shown as attached and appears to send as normal. There are no error messages or bouncebacks, and the first we know that the email has lost the attachment is when we are advised by the recipient. Then when checking the sent folder, the email is there but again without the attachments.

Doesn't do this every-time though... sometimes the email goes with the attachments as it normally should.

I'm using version 16.62 (22052500)

Has anybody else had this issue and is there a fix? Or is it a software glitch?

Microsoft, are you listening to Mac users?

After more use this week, I found dragging and dropping works, but not always. I just got a note this AM from a key contact telling me the file didn't come through, even though I dragged and dropped. It was a Word Docx. This burned precious time on a multimillion dollar deal where this was a critical document.

I resorted to pasting a link to the file I uploaded on google drive. This is ridiculous Microsoft.

I also had a problem forwarding a HTML email where the HTML attachment/content was dropped.

Some times the images get scraped off, and show as broken when I paste a screen shot into an email.

What is Microsoft doing to attachments? MSFT, fix this, please. We can't do business this way.

Same issue here, I'm on Outlook version 16.74.2, Ventura 13.4.1 on a Macbook Pro 16" M1 Pro.

Super frustrating issue. I'm using 365 Business Standard too so it's not like I'm using a product outside their ecosystem.

I also have the same issue, as well as some of the images in my signature randomly disappearing. Does anyone know how to revert back to the earlier version, or is that not possible?

I am using Outlook 16.74.1 (a recent update about a week ago). I too am now getting messages back from people "you didn't include the attachment" when I know I did. I am using the attach, and browsing from my hard drive.

I also can no longer go from office products and click "share" > (send Presentation / Sheet / Doc).

    Very frustrating.

Hi, The Outlook version on my Macbook is 16.74.2 and I have the same issue all of a sudden with the same reply from people. I have tried different ways of attaching files, from dragging and dropping, to using the insert option, directly from OneDrive via the Mac finder, via Teams, via SharePoint and via Onedrive. Nothing works. I hope Microsoft fixes this soon as well.
