Outlook 365 for Mac - not sending attachments

I have an issue whereby Outlook for Mac is losing attachments when sending emails (typically, but not exclusively, PDF files).

If a file(s) is/are dragged and dropped into an email it is shown as attached and appears to send as normal. There are no error messages or bouncebacks, and the first we know that the email has lost the attachment is when we are advised by the recipient. Then when checking the sent folder, the email is there but again without the attachments.

Doesn't do this every-time though... sometimes the email goes with the attachments as it normally should.

I'm using version 16.62 (22052500)

Has anybody else had this issue and is there a fix? Or is it a software glitch?

    I'm on 16.66 (22100900), update channel is Current Channel (Preview) and I just tried to send an email that had a digital signature and a PDF attachment to myself, and on the other end I didn't get the attachment, but the digital signature appeared as an attachment on the other end.

    If I send the same email, disabling my digital signature, with the same PDF attachment, I get it on the other end.

    So, no, 16.66 (22100900) doesn't appear to fix it.

    Current channel (preview) - and the update just went live a few days ago. If things run according to schedule, the update should roll out middle of the month for everyone who's on the current channel.

    On which channel you are? I'm on 16.65, still cannot send attachments together with S/MIME cert. Auto update says that I'm on the latest version. (German version though)
