I am using outlook 2021, recently many of my emails rejected, and I am getting the below massage regardless to whom i sending to (some pass without any issue)

I have the same issue. Tried many fixes, even tried to repair the account. No luck. Now will try deleting the account and re-entering the email account in Outlook.

I am having same problem. i have set "Automatically Wrap Text at character 70". the problem still persist. i tried sending from webserver and it works.
I am using Microsoft 365 and it is updated.

I have the same issue... Using Microsoft 365 Version 2207 (build 15427.20210 Click-to-run).
MS Outlook 365: Not working.
cPanel Webmail: It is working, able to send emails.
Autocorrect: Removed the autocorrect emails and tried from outlook, still not working.
WRAP Text: Changed to 70 or suggested number, still not working.

When an email is replied to in Windows Outlook, an item is added to the "References" header. This header keeps growing in size on each reply until it is split up by Outlook at 1012 characters. The problem is that the RFC SMTP line length limit is 998 characters, resulting in many servers rejecting the message as having lines that are too long.
This issue has persisted for many years and Microsoft seems uninterested in fixing it. All it requires is for them to reduce the references header split length in Windows Outlook to 998 characters.
