How to remove old Outlook after switching to New Outlook

After changing to the New Outlook, my office apps still try to use old outlook application when I try to share a document (File - Share - Email). It opens old outlook but wont send. It just sets in Outbox. I assume some clean up is necessary to remove remanence of old Outlook?

    Please help us in isolating the issue by providing the following information:

    1. What windows version are running?
    2. Have you tried the steps below to remove the old Outlook application:
      • Close all Office applications, including Outlook.
      • Open the Control Panel and select "Programs and Features" or "Add or Remove Programs" depending on your version of Windows.
      • Find Microsoft Office in the list of installed programs and select "Change".
      • In the Office installer window, select "Add or Remove Features" and click "Continue".
      • Expand the "Outlook" section and uncheck the box next to the old version of Outlook.
      • Click "Continue" and follow the prompts to complete the uninstallation process.

    I'm also having the same issue but those steps do not work: in my case, I have the "Microsoft 365 Apps For Enterprise" suite, and when I click on the "Change" button within Windows' Control Panel, I'm given only two options, "Quick Repair" and "Online Repair".

    Just as the rest of replies in the thread, all I want is to uninstall the "old" Outlook software, since I already switched to the version shown as "Outlook (New)" and I want to get some free disk space back.

    Have you solved the issue? I'm also trying to delete the old version (Enterprice Office) but I haven't find yet the solution..

    On the mentioned solution I can only uninstall and repair office without the possibility to "Add or remove features".

    My issue is the same. I set up the new Outlook. I then want to use the "mail" shortcut in my word document to automatically attach the document in an email, but instead of opening the "new outlook" it tries to open the old outlook. I have set the new outlook at the default mail app everywhere i can find a spot to do that and it still, annoyingly, tries to open the old outlook, which i do not have set up, which makes the shortcut in Word absolutely useless.

    Any help is appreciated.

    The Quick repair option worked for me. I am using the ARM64 version of Windows.
