Outlook for macOS: Dropping attachments (randomly)

Hello all,

For some reason, Outlook for Mac is dropping attachments and images in the emails I send. It's random, but it happens to me quite often. I managed to find out that this issue has historically occurred with other people using older versions. It seems that this bug has returned to Outlook for Mac.

I have the latest version 16.75.

macOS is also updated, i.e., macOS Ventura 13.4 (22F66).

I didn't have this problem before. It appeared about a month ago. In the meantime, a new version of macOS has been released and there have been several updates for Outlook, but the situation persists.

Attachment randomly disappears from the e-mail which I send with the attachments and pictures. It looks very unprofessional.

This is example how it looks when I add picture to the e-mail when the message is sent.

If I try it once again on the second attempt the attachments/pictures are sent without issues.

I need help, please.Any advice?

    My workaround failed, that is I'd upload attachments to Dropbox and send the link. Well...my clients company doesn't allow links to be accessed for security reasons, but does allow attachments. After 3 attempts at sending attachments and looking like a fool, I finally took a photo of the docs and text it to them.

    1. you forget the attachments
    2. you forgot them again!
    3. oh, I guess you do have a problem. oh well, you can text them can't you?
    4. got the texts!

    At a loss on this, how hard can a fix be? My opinion, Tech needs to JUST WORK or toss it in the garbage. it's a shame, as I have preferred Outlook for years.

    It's really a shame that such basic functions suddenly don't work anymore and obviously Microsoft doesn't need to fix this quickly. But hey, they are a small company and probably don't have the capacity to do this.

    Same problem Here,

    Today arrive an update but the issue is intermittent and still happens.

    Any update on this Issue?

    Microsoft Need resolve this issue, share available patches or share one stable version of Outlook for Mac

    I'm having the exact same issue with Outlook for Mac. the attachments are there when sent, then I watch them disappear along with my signature. It's intermittent, and may/may not happen. I've resorted to adding everything to dropbox and sending a dropbox link, which as much time as it takes is better than looking like I forgot, for the umpteenth time.

    This thread is pretty much a duplicate of one I saw from May 2022, so it is ongoing. Seems to also have something to do with Gmail as the server. I really hope they get a fix!

    So Legacy huh? Just might work as I only switched over to the "latest and greatest" a few months ago.
